Manila Zoo (Manila Zoological and Botanical Garden)

February 27, 2016

On a lazy Saturday afternoon, we checked out the Manila Zoological and Botanical Garden, which is commonly known as the Manila Zoo. It houses 90 species of over a thousand animals, including Mali, who is a 42-year old elephant, a hippopotamus, a Bengal tiger, a lion, and zebronkeys.

We admit it was kind of sad to see these lonely animals, especially Mali, who we think should be sent to the elephant sanctuary. Surprisingly though, we found the surroundings of the zoo cleaner than what we remember from our childhood days.
